EZlocal describes itself simply: "Create your free business listing on EZlocal. Get found by local customers, boost your search visibility and manage your online presence. Fast, easy & 100% free." Its AI visibility score is 5.5 out of 10: the engines can find it, but they do not have much to hold on to.
Our crawl found structured data on the page (FAQPage) and a readable heading structure. It is missing an llms.txt file and a sitemap.
AI crawlers have visited once in our tracking, including ClaudeBot (Anthropic).

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 5.5/10, EZlocal has a working base to build on - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
How to resolve claimed listings or verification issues on EZlocal?
If your EZlocal business listing is already claimed by another user or you cannot receive the verification PIN via text message or phone call, you can still gain ownership. This guide walks you through the troubleshooting steps and how to contact support.
What to Do If You Cannot Receive Text Messages or Phone Calls?
Try Email Verification first if you have access to a valid email address for the business. If email is also unavailable or you still need help, contact EZlocal Customer Support.
What to Do If Your Listing Is Already Claimed by Another User?
Go to https://ezlocal.com/free-business-listing/. Enter the phone number for the business you want to claim (this is the primary way EZlocal locates your existing listing). The business name field is also required. If a matching listing is found for the phone number you entered, you will be directed to the Claim page. Enter your full name and email address.
What to Do If Your Listing Is Claimed by a Third-Party Listing Management or Syndication Service?
Your EZlocal business listing may be actively managed by an authorized third-party listing management or data syndication service. To resolve this: Contact the third-party service or agency that manages your business listings. Request a release of the claim specifically for your EZlocal listing. Once the release is processed, return to the claim process on EZlocal (or email cs@ezlocal.com for assistance).
How to Update Your Business Phone Number (After Claiming)?
Once you successfully verify ownership: Log in to your dashboard at dash.ezlocal.com. Select your business profile. Click Edit Business Information. Update the phone number (and any other details such as hours, description, or photos). Save your changes — updates usually go live immediately.
