At 2.1/10, Stuff With Words is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
What about creating website copy?
Perhaps you’re starting completely from scratch with a new website and need to get some copy written for each of your pages before you even start thinking about blogs and ebooks.
Are you talking to me?
It may be that you need to re-write your copy for a specific audience. For example, if you’re addressing an international audience of non-native English speakers it’s no good having content that’s crammed full of idioms and obscure words. They just won’t get it. And Baby Boomers will connect with a different style of language to Millennials.
How’s your SEO?
Your copy doesn’t just speak to humans; it also speaks to the search engine robots that crawl your site to work out what it’s all about and who would be interested in what you have to offer. We’ll make sure your keywords are naturally present in your digital copy – whether it’s your website, social media pages or blogs – so search engines can easily find your content and deliver it in the right search results.
What if English isn’t my native language?
We are happy to do ESL proofreading as well, and we understand the struggles of writing in a foreign language – you just want your content to sound natural to a native English speaker. We’ll even send you some guidance on common mistakes you’re making so you can improve for next time.
That’s just what I need. What are your proofreading rates?
We’d love to be able to publish a fixed price for our proofreading services, but the answer is “it depends”. Mainly on the quality of the original document, but also on the word count and how quickly you need the work completed. Our prices start at US$40 per 1,000 words, but if you need it like yesterday it’ll be a bit more. If your English isn’t fluent, that also means the rate will be slightly higher.

ChatGPT doesn't crawl the web like Google does. When someone asks Claude about the best project management tools, the model isn't searching your website in real-time. It's pulling from training data that stopped months or years ago.
