AI Visibility Scorecard
httpforever.com · Travel & Hospitality
Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl HTTP Forever, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

HTTP Forever describes itself simply: "HTTP Forever is a plain-HTTP page that helps you trigger captive portal login screens on public WiFi, on trains, in hotels, bars and on flights." When AI engines look at it, they find little to work with. It scores 4.9 out of 10.
Under the hood there is a readable heading structure, but the score is capped by what is missing: structured data describing the business, an llms.txt file, a sitemap.

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 4.9/10, HTTP Forever is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
Why does this site exist?
This domain started out as my personal captive portal buster, but I wanted to publicise it for anyone to use. If you're on a train, in a hotel or bar, on a flight, or anywhere that makes you log in for WiFi, this site can help you get to the login screen. 02 — The mechanics
How does it work?
When you connect to a WiFi hotspot out and about, you sometimes have to log in or accept terms and conditions. To do that, the captive portal has to intercept one of your requests and inject its own login page. Modern sites use HTTPS, so that interception triggers a big red security warning in your browser — one you should never click through.
Can I use it?
Yes! Anyone is free to use or link to this site. Just make sure you're always on the HTTP version: http://httpforever.com Click to select, then copy 04 — The author
